Charlotte Mason Method
Charlotte Mason (1842-1923) was a mostly home educated woman whose life’s work was working toward improving the quality of education for children.
The Charlotte Mason Method is based on the use of living books and the requirement of children telling about what they have read. Also included in this method are the use of narration and dictation on the part of the child. The use of prepared dictation is used to teach spelling and to reinforce grammar.
